Well, I’m sure that SOME due still care that their government is dictating what they can and cannot read and listen to… I believe that there is less and less “blind faith” in the Chinese government as the years pass, and if this is true, more and more people are recognizing the influence of the government, the specific things it is doing, and the direct impact it has on the citizens.

If you would like to be treated like a mushroom, have complete faith that the government will tell you what you need to know – then sure, why care anymore? In such a case it really is a dead issue.

Yet I’m pretty sure that there are still at least a couple people who resent the fact that their government censors the information they receive..

What’s the line? “Once your brain has been expanded, it can never go back to the original size.” I think that applies to the emerging China nicely…

Do you think that the citizens of china care anymore. I would suspect that at some point if you live without certain things you soon just forget to want or ask for them..
do you think its possible that Chinese citizen don’t really find interest in freedom of freedoms?

Hey Jack, China has some great history over the past few years downgrading things which in this case likely means the number of censors has increased.

Ok, so the chances of someone in China ACTUALLY visiting this blog, reading it, and deciding that it should be banned is… well, it’s not impossible..

Who knows – blogs go and do weird things out in the world – anything is possible!

Doesn’t being banned in China make you feel a little power mad, Mr. William Tully? It should.
I never realized the omnipotence of your global reach until I read this. And, you should be proud of the fact that you have saved the Jewish people, too. This extends your global reach even further.

I note the Chinese have gone to great lengths to downgrade this censorship. Just like most people who say,”I don’t play games.” When you hear this, you’d better believe they are doing just that: playing games.

My guess would be that they’re blocking blogs to control information/news.

I checked all the SiteGround.com accounts that I work with and they’re all blocked… Wait, every URL I test is blocked… I checked another site, and every URL I entered wasn’t blocked (including some known to be blocked)..

Who knows…
