LinkedIn Answer Fun!

I do quite a bit on LinkedIn these days and I spend quite a bit of time in the LinkedIn Answers section answering questions or just reading to gain knowledge. There are times where the questions are great, there are times when the questions are insanely industry specific, and then there are times where the question… well…. the question just deserves a “special” answer…

I now believe that the best thing for these special questions is to answer them the best way that I know how… oh, and to post them here for a bit of fun.

how can i buy labtop

Answer:

Sadly, labtops are much harder to come by these days. See, the challenge is that they’re typically on contract with labs and the technicians that use them. Trying to break up those contracts can get pretty ugly! Oh sure the usual argument from the technicians is “well where am I supposed to work?!”, but with a solid lawyer you can usually scare them pretty good with a threat of mal practice – yeah, I know they’re “technicians” but hey, anyone wearing a lab coat thinks they’re a doctor, right? But hey, once the contract is broken, labtops are now like free agents in baseball (I think – I really hate baseball so I could be wrong) where you can scoop them up cheap when they begin to worry about their future because they’re current contract is no more.

So really, contract breaking is generally your best way to buy a labtop.
